Juan Leon vs Onofre Bermudez

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Stadio Olimpico, Rome,  taking place on 01/05/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Juan Leon (27(22) - 1) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Onofre Bermudez(15 - 13(1) - 2) from Mendoza, Argentina.  Leon weighed in at 107 pounds and 3 ounces, while Bermudez weighed in at 107 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Savio Anedda, and the three ringside judges are Alberto Parodi, Gabriele Gattuso and Emilio Zacchera.

Bermudez closes the distance.  Leon pivots to the right of his opponent.  Leon throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Leon clinches his opponent.  Leon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Leon and breaks the clinch.  
Leon steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Leon lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Leon lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Leon lands a jab.  
Leon throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Leon tries to step out of his opponents range and finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Leon lands a sharp cross.

Bermudez tries to land a jab, but Leon sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Leon switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Bermudez recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bermudez's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Bermudez's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Leon stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Bermudez tries to land a jab, but Leon blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Leon feints a cross, tricking Bermudez into countering with a left hook.  Leon is waiting for the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Leon hits home with a firm cross.  
Bermudez gets on the inside.  Leon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Leon steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Bermudez is looking to close the distance.  Leon lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Leon clinches his opponent.  Bermudez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Bermudez pushes his forearm into Leon's face.  The ref breaks Leon's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Leon lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS BERMUDEZ SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Bermudez cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Leon!
