Azam Farooq vs Jawad Baccus

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-Tehran promoted show at Tehran Wat, Tehran,  taking place on 01/04/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Iran-Tehran Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Azam Farooq (13 - 18 - 7) who hails from Tehran, Iran and Jawad Baccus(13 - 6(2)) from Tehran, Iran.  Both Farooq and Baccus weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ali Khalifa, and the three ringside judges are Waqas Soomro, Saad Salameh and Haaris Sylla.  

Round 1: 

Baccus advances into close range.  Baccus pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Baccus steps inside and is on target with a right hook.  
Farooq connects with a left hook.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Baccus dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Baccus is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Baccus lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Baccus steps inside.  Farooq attempts to land a left uppercut, but Baccus slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Farooq throws a left hook, but Baccus holds on to his opponent.  Baccus is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Baccus about fouling.  
Farooq is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a cross.
