John Roy vs Cris Roa

Boxing Daily Report from the Forficula Promotion promoted show at Cliff Anderson's Sports Hall, Georgetown,  taking place on 29/03/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NCN, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are John Roy (1 - 0 - 2) who hails from Linden, Guyana and Cris Roa(7 - 5 - 1) from Ecatepec, Mexico.  Both Roy and Roa weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Greg Rhoderick, and the three ringside judges are Rob Pate, Charles Crawford and Dan Kitchin.  

Round 1: 

Roa gets on the inside.  Roa pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Roy tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Roa closes the distance.  Roy lands a left hook.  Roy attempts to land a left hook, but Roa blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Roa advances into close range.  Roa hits home with a left hook.  Roa attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Roy time to recover.
