Javier Velez vs Eduardo Bencomo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Chile-Santiago promoted show at Maipu Salcedo, Maipu,  taking place on 12/04/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Chile Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UCV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Javier Velez (18 - 7(1)) who hails from Maipu, Chile and Eduardo Bencomo(23(15) - 6(3) - 2 - 1(NC)) from Las Condes, Chile.  Both Velez and Bencomo weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lisandro Lozada, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Nunez, Rio Fallas and Fresco Collazo.  

Round 1: 

Velez advances into close range.  Bencomo pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a sharp left hook into Velez's ribs.

Bencomo lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bencomo dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Velez tries to land a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a hurtful right uppercut.  VELEZ IS HURT!  
Bencomo senses Velez is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Bencomo SLAMS a SAVAGE right hook into his opponents face.  VELEZ IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Bencomo lands a cross, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut, cross and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND VELEZ IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Bencomo!
