Mardian Roussel vs Francois Lucas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Quebec promoted show at VIP Boxing Club, Gaineau,  taking place on 19/04/2032:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Quebec Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mardian Roussel (23 - 15(6) - 1) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Francois Lucas(22(3) - 5) from Montreal, Canada.  Roussel weighed in at 134 pounds and 13 ounces, while Lucas weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Patillo, and the three ringside judges are Neville Bazil, Verrier Luna and Mark Mostyn.  

Round 1: 

Lucas gets on the inside and drives a right hook into Roussel's body.

Lucas gets on the inside.  Lucas sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a sharp left hook to Roussel's ribs.  
Lucas throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Lucas ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Lucas drives a right hook into Roussel's ribcage.  
Lucas digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.

Lucas digs in a weighty left uppercut to his opponents liver.  IT LOOKS LIKE ROUSSEL WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Roussel quickly recovers. 
Lucas lands a right uppercut to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  
Lucas digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Lucas sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a solid left uppercut.  
Lucas hits home with a left hook.  
Roussel tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a cross.  
Lucas closes the distance.  Lucas lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Lucas clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Lucas pushes his forearm into Roussel's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Lucas about fouling.  
The right shot from Lucas could be enough to force the stoppage!  Lucas lands a left uppercut, right hook and a cross to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS ROUSSEL DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  Roussel now seems to have got his legs back.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Roussel's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Roussel's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Roussel's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
