Hajime Yamane vs Eiji Sugai

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Osaka promoted show at Yodogawa Ward Center, Osaka,  taking place on 21/04/2032:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Osaka Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hajime Yamane (9 - 18(1) - 1) who hails from Osaka, Japan and Eiji Sugai(4 - 9(1) - 4) from Osaka, Japan.  Both Yamane and Sugai weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Takeshi Katayama, and the three ringside judges are Hisao Sakai, Satoru Muraoka and Michi Yokoyama.  

Round 1: 

Yamane advances into close range.  Sugai throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Yamane time to recover.
