Chris Elrick vs Mark Magill

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Waikato promoted show at Mike Lovitt Gym, Hamilton,  taking place on 22/04/2032:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Waikato Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Elrick (2 - 11(1) - 2) who hails from Hamilton, New Zealand and Mark Magill(3 - 4) from Hamilton, New Zealand.  Both Elrick and Magill weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dale Bransfield, and the three ringside judges are David Darnley, David Clewis and Jake Ewart.  

Round 1: 

Elrick is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with an overhand left.  
Magill finds the target with a jab.  
Elrick advances into close range.  Magill is on target with a right hook.

Magill closes the distance and walks Elrick down, trapping him in a corner.  Magill is on target with a left hook to Elrick's body.  
Magill sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Elrick throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.
