Joel Boncan vs Alejandro Baniqued

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Cavite promoted show at Enzo Tungpalan Gym, Dasmarinas,  taking place on 23/04/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Cavite Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joel Boncan (14 - 19 - 1) who hails from Dasmarinas, Philippines and Alejandro Baniqued(23 - 9(2) - 1) from Dasmarinas, Philippines.  Both Boncan and Baniqued weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rico Riquelme, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Malacad, Montego Morillo and Rico Riquelme.  

Round 1: 

Baniqued connects with a cross.  
Boncan closes the distance and hits home with a left hook.

Boncan is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Baniqued throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Baniqued steps inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Boncan steps inside.  Boncan lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Boncan has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
