Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Veterans Memorial Stadium, Cedar Rapids,  taking place on 22/05/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are David Wean (6(3) - 0) who hails from Fresno, USA and John Nicolls(4 - 1 - 1) from Hialeah, USA.  Both Wean and Nicolls weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Colin Dickins, and the three ringside judges are Rob Winning, Mike James and Vince Caven.  

Round 1:

Nicolls is looking to keep his distance.  Some sustained pressure from Wean could be enough to finish Nicolls!  Wean lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND SENDS NICOLLS SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Wean!
