Josce Beaufort vs Jordan Shives

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Windsor Hotel Ballroom, Montreal,  taking place on 29/05/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Quebec Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Josce Beaufort (15(2) - 0) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Jordan Shives(5 - 6 - 3) from Montreal, Canada.  Both Beaufort and Shives weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Oliver, and the three ringside judges are Channing Lippmann, Sid Leys and Phil Pearce.  

Round 1: 

Beaufort is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Beaufort holds on to his opponent.  Beaufort leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Shives is looking to close the distance.  Beaufort hits home with a firm right hook.  
Beaufort lands two left hooks followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Beaufort ties up his opponent.  Beaufort tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Shives behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Beaufort.  
Beaufort quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Beaufort connects with a firm left hook.  
Beaufort lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Beaufort closes the distance.  Shives throws a right hook, but Beaufort clinches his opponent.  Beaufort pushes his forearm into Shives's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Beaufort to stop fouling.  
Beaufort lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Beaufort stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Shives attempts to land a left hook, but Beaufort blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Shives has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.

Beaufort lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.
