Stephen Evans vs Chris Pryce

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Opryland Delta Ballroom, Nashville,  taking place on 15/05/2032:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Tennessee Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Stephen Evans (18 - 3(1) - 3) who hails from Nashville, USA and Chris Pryce(24(9) - 3) from Memphis, USA.  Both Evans and Pryce weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Cruikshank, and the three ringside judges are John Cranston, Paul Loudon and Ian Dean.  

Round 1: 

Pryce is on target with a sharp left uppercut to Evans's ribs.  
Pryce closes the distance and tries to land a left hook, but Evans sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Evans is looking to keep his distance and attempts to land a jab, but Pryce slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Pryce gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Evans tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross.  
Pryce forces Evans to back into the red corner.  Pryce lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Evans almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Evans is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a cross, but Pryce blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Evans throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a forceful right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE EVANS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Evans almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Evans sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Evans throws an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Pryce pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Evans almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Evans is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross.  
Pryce gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Pryce connects with a solid right hook.  
Evans throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Pryce is on target with a right uppercut.  
Evans is looking to keep his distance and hits home with an overhand left.  
Pryce closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Pryce lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Evans is looking to keep his distance.  Evans quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Evans lands a cross.  Evans tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Pryce is on target with a left uppercut.  
Pryce cuts off the ring, trapping Evans in the corner.  Pryce lands two straights followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Evans throws a left hook, but Pryce clinches his opponent.  Pryce leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Pryce lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Evans throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Evans's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Pryce lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Pryce clinches his opponent.  Pryce pushes his forearm into Evans's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Pryce.  
Evans sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Pryce digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Evans steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Evans lands a jab.  
Evans waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Pryce is on target with a firm cross.  
Pryce steps inside.  Pryce quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a solid left uppercut.  
Evans tries to land a jab, but Pryce sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Pryce steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Evans in a neutral corner.  Evans throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Evans is looking to keep his distance.  Pryce sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Pryce lands a cross.  Pryce attempts to land an overhand left, but Evans sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Evans steps to the outside and hits home with a cross.  Evans attempts to land a jab, but Pryce sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Pryce is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook.  
Pryce lands a hard jab.

Pryce lands a ramrod jab.

Evans finds the target with a stiff jab.  Evans tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a forceful cross.  
Evans is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Pryce thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Evans away.  Pryce lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS EVANS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Evans now seems to have his senses back.  
Pryce closes the distance and drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.  
Pryce lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Pryce senses Evans is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Pryce connects with a spiteful right hook.  EVANS HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Pryce!
