Chigozie Iheruome vs Syed Hasan

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Festival Hall, Melbourne,  taking place on 24/05/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chigozie Iheruome (15(6) - 0) who hails from Port Harcourt, Nigeria and Syed Hasan(6 - 3 - 1) from Melbourne, Australia.  Iheruome weighed in at 168 pounds, while Hasan weighed in at 167 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Clinton Waugh, and the three ringside judges are Ricky Gebbie, Abdul Sabir and Matt Linton.  

Round 1:

Hasan advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Iheruome on the ropes.  Iheruome digs in a sharp left hook to Hasan's body.  
Hasan gets on the inside.  Iheruome digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  Iheruome ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Iheruome pushes his forearm into Hasan's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Iheruome tries to step out of his opponents range.  Iheruome feints a cross, and then lands with a stinging jab.  Iheruome tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
