Akhil Gupta vs Iwao Kawahara

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Matsudo Athletic Park Gymnasium, Matsudo,  taking place on 14/06/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Akhil Gupta (14(5) - 1(1)) who hails from Chennai, India and Iwao Kawahara(10 - 7(1) - 4) from Sagamihara, Japan.  Both Gupta and Kawahara weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kenji Aoyama, and the three ringside judges are Michi Sakamoto, Hideki Yanagi and Michi Anzai.  

Round 1: 

Gupta is looking to close the distance and drives a right hook into Kawahara's ribs.  Gupta clinches his opponent.  Gupta pushes his forearm into Kawahara's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
