John Magee vs Mick Nist

Boxing Daily Report from the Sijabala Promotions promoted show at Birmingham Rayburn, Birmingham,  taking place on 08/05/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Alabama Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Magee (16 - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Birmingham, USA and Mick Nist(10 - 2 - 1) from Montgomery, USA.  Magee weighed in at 140 pounds, while Nist weighed in at 139 pounds And 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Louis Garrow, and the three ringside judges are Antwan Blain, Zachary Stackpole and Jonathan Reid.  

Round 1: 

Nist advances into close range and hits home with a right uppercut.  Nist tries to land a left hook, but Magee sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook.
