Robert Cherigat vs John Dhalla

Boxing Daily Report from the Marco Boogers promoted show at Kasarani indoor arena, Nairobi,  taking place on 22/05/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Eastern African Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WWX Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Robert Cherigat (21(17) - 1(1)) who hails from Kikuyu, Kenya and John Dhalla(18(2) - 4(4)) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Cherigat and Dhalla weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Scott Merande, and the three ringside judges are Nathan Andersson, Bob Mbiyu and Paul Changeywo.  

Round 1:
