Martyn McCourt vs Alec Allen

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Gus Speed Gym, Manchester,  taking place on 04/05/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Martyn McCourt (2 - 0) who hails from Swansea, UK and Alec Allen(2 - 0) from London, UK.  Both McCourt and Allen weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dai Tierney, and the three ringside judges are Zain Salam, Sam Colden and Johnny Finn.  

Round 1: 

McCourt advances into close range and throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  McCourt clinches his opponent.  McCourt pushes his forearm into Allen's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
McCourt leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Allen steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
McCourt is on target with a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Allen is looking to close the distance.  Allen pivots to the right of his opponent.  McCourt is on target with a left hook.  
Allen sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  McCourt lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.

McCourt lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Allen throws a right hook, but McCourt ties up his opponent.  McCourt leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. McCourt pushes his forearm into Allen's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns McCourt to stop fouling.

McCourt steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Allen closes the distance.  McCourt lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  McCourt ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, McCourt pushes his forearm into Allen's face.  The referee warns McCourt and breaks the clinch.  
McCourt switches the action to the outside and hits home with an overhand right.  
Allen connects with a right uppercut.  
McCourt steps inside and is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  
Allen tries to land a right uppercut, but McCourt sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
McCourt throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  McCourt ties up his opponent.  McCourt leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. McCourt pushes his forearm into Allen's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McCourt about fouling.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...McCourt's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Allen's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Allen's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Allen drives a right hook into McCourt's ribcage.
