Rashid Maroun vs Waqas Awan

Boxing Daily Report from the Kasanbata Promotions promoted show at Zaria Wahab, Zaria,  taking place on 22/04/2032:

Clearly Kasanbata Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kaduna State Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rashid Maroun (11 - 8 - 6) who hails from Zaria, Nigeria and Waqas Awan(2 - 17 - 3) from Kaduna, Nigeria.  Maroun weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces, while Awan weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mudashiru Akanji, and the three ringside judges are Ifeanyi Chukwudi, Shayan Sasooli and Chigozie Olanare.
