John Nimmo vs Sam Burns

Boxing Daily Report from the Payakaroon Boxing Entertainment promoted show at Brisbane Conference Centre, Brisbane,  taking place on 12/06/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Oceania Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Nimmo (13(4) - 0 - 2) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Sam Burns(23 - 15(13) - 1) from Perth, Australia.  Both Nimmo and Burns weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oliver Mullane, and the three ringside judges are Brendan Moultrie, Scott Martin and Neil McAllaster.

Nimmo feints a jab, tricking Burns into launching a right uppercut counter.  Nimmo springs the trap and counters with  a sharp left hook.  
Nimmo is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Nimmo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a firm cross to his opponents body.  
Nimmo steps to the outside.  Nimmo drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Burns attempts to land a jab, but Nimmo dodges the shot and counters with a cross.
