Cumhur Malas vs Engin Ayerdem

Boxing Daily Report from the Nabighyan Promotions promoted show at Izmir Taylan, Izmir,  taking place on 24/05/2032:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Turkey-Izmir Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cumhur Malas (17 - 8(2) - 2) who hails from Izmir, Turkey and Engin Ayerdem(10(5) - 1(1)) from Izmir, Turkey.  Malas weighed in at 135 pounds, while Ayerdem weighed in at 134 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Adem Sozen, and the three ringside judges are Berkant Erdogan, Metin Calhanoglu and Devrim Agca.  

Round 1:

Ayerdem lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS MALAS TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Malas almost instantly recovers.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Malas dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Malas.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Malas attempts to land a jab, but Ayerdem parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Ayerdem forces Malas to retreat into a corner.  Ayerdem is on target with a firm left uppercut to Malas's body.  
Ayerdem steps inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Ayerdem advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Ayerdem knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Ayerdem lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND MALAS IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  He doesnt look in good shape though! Malas is still on wobbly legs as the ref signals that the fight is over.  The winner by TKO is Ayerdem!
