John Kenefick vs Ollie Wyly

Boxing Daily Report from the Museli Promotions promoted show at Bareebe Gym, Wichita,  taking place on 29/05/2032:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Kansas Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Kenefick (6 - 14(1) - 4) who hails from Olathe, USA and Ollie Wyly(14(4) - 1) from Overland Park, USA.  Both Kenefick and Wyly weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Duncan Myres, and the three ringside judges are John Ghee, Mark Darby and Jay Bonar.  

Round 1: 

Wyly advances into close range.  Kenefick throws a left hook, but Wyly clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Wyly pushes his forearm into Kenefick's face.  The ref breaks Wyly's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Wyly advances into close range and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot.  Wyly clinches his opponent.  Wyly throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Wyly leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Wyly is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Wyly tries to land a left hook, but Kenefick parries the shot and counters with a right hook.

Wyly sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Wyly advances into close range.  Kenefick quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Wyly hits home with a left hook.  Wyly clinches his opponent.  Wyly leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Wyly's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Kenefick steps to the outside.  Wyly feints a cross, and then is on target with a sharp overhand right.  
Wyly attempts to land a right hook, but Kenefick slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Wyly walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Wyly lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Wyly holds on to his opponent.  Wyly is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Wyly tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Kenefick behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Kenefick hits home with a left hook.  
Wyly steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kenefick's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Kenefick's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Wyly steps inside.  Wyly quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Wyly drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Wyly lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Wyly closes the distance and lands a stinging right hook.  
Wyly lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Kenefick throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Wyly's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Wyly is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Kenefick lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Wyly closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Wyly quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kenefick lands a left uppercut.  
Kenefick is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Wyly sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.
