Fanuco Lua vs Quinto Riveron

Boxing Daily Report from the Sumito Urayama's KO Kings promoted show at Palacio Contador, Montevideo,  taking place on 05/06/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uruguay Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Fanuco The Hulk Lua (22(10) - 5(1)) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Quinto Riveron(22(7) - 8(1) - 1) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Lua weighed in at 256 pounds and 3 ounces, while Riveron weighed in at 245 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Javier Casto, and the three ringside judges are Baltasar Regal, Elias Isabella and Berto Beltre.  

Round 1: 

Riveron sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Lua gets on the inside and digs in a firm right hook to Riveron's body.  
Riveron tries to keep the action at long range.  Lua is on target with a cross to Riveron's body.  
Riveron tries to step out of his opponents range.  Lua is on target with an overhand right.  
Lua lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Lua is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Lua steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Lua is on target with a sharp right uppercut to his opponents body.  Lua ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Riveron pushes his forearm into Lua's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Riveron tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Lua feints a jab, and then drives a right hook into Riveron's body.  
Lua closes the distance.  Riveron lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lua lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Lua gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to Riveron's ribs.  
Lua is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lua digs in a stinging left hook to Riveron's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Riveron's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent. Riveron finds the target with a hard jab.

Lua is looking to close the distance.  Riveron throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Lua lands a double left hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING RIVERON DOWN!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Lua!
