Pancho Borgo vs Carlos Abela

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Bogota International Conference Center, Bogota,  taking place on 05/07/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Pancho Borgo (8(4) - 0) who hails from Ciudad Apodaca, Mexico and Carlos Abela(9 - 9 - 2) from Bogota, Colombia.  Borgo weighed in at 175 pounds, while Abela weighed in at 175 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Desiderio Falla, and the three ringside judges are Baltasar Cuadrado, Montel Bastidas and Franco Minjarez.  

Round 1: 

Borgo steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Borgo holds on to his opponent.  Borgo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Borgo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Borgo lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Borgo ties up his opponent.  Borgo pushes his forearm into Abela's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Borgo.  
Borgo lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Borgo connects with a sharp left hook.  Borgo ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Borgo closes the distance and whips in a hurtful left uppercut to Abela's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE ABELA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Borgo holds on to his opponent.  Borgo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Borgo is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Borgo lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the head followed by two left uppercut's to the body, AND DROPS ABELA TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Borgo lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND SENDS ABELA TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  Abela now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Borgo advances into close range and is on target with a stinging right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Borgo lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Borgo digs in a solid right hook to Abela's body.  Borgo holds on to his opponent.  Borgo throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Borgo about fouling.  
Borgo is on target with a left uppercut to Abela's ribs.  
Borgo lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Borgo lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Borgo clinches his opponent.  Borgo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Borgo cuts off the ring, trapping Abela on the ropes.  Borgo drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  
Borgo lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Abela quickly recovers. 
Borgo lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
It looks like Abela has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Borgo cuts off the ring, trapping Abela in the corner.  Borgo drives a stinging left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Borgo digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Borgo sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Abela throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Abela's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Abela's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Abela's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Abela's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Borgo sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Borgo lands a left hook, right uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, DROPPING ABELA TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Abela is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Borgo!
