Bryan Kenneson vs James Cruden

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Rogers Center, Toronto,  taking place on 08/07/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Canada Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Bryan Kenneson (39(31) - 0 - 1) who hails from Toronto, Canada and James Cruden(14 - 21(2) - 1) from Calgary, Canada.  Both Kenneson and Cruden weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Danny Bour, and the three ringside judges are Jean-Baptiste Villon, Kian Clanahan and Charles Moss.  

Round 1: 

Cruden gets on the inside.  Kenneson tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Kenneson tries to step out of his opponents range.  Cruden sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Kenneson hits home with a cross.  
Cruden steps inside.  Kenneson lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Kenneson ties up his opponent.  Kenneson is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kenneson digs in a firm right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Kenneson steps away from his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Kenneson connects with a stinging overhand left.

Cruden steps inside.  Kenneson pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a solid left hook.  
Kenneson steps to the outside and lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Kenneson steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Kenneson steps to the outside and snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.  
Kenneson lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Kenneson lands with a ramrod jab.  
Cruden advances into close range and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Kenneson lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kenneson finds the target with a hard jab.  
Kenneson lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Kenneson switches the action to the outside and hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Kenneson finds the target with a jab.

Kenneson connects with a FIERCE cross.  CRUDEN IS HURT!  
Cruden is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Kenneson is looking to force the stoppage!  Kenneson lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND CRUDEN IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Cruden now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Kenneson lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Kenneson is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Cruden closes the distance and throws a left hook, but Kenneson ties up his opponent.  Cruden uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Kenneson's kidney. Cruden is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Cruden.  
Kenneson switches the action to the outside and is on target with a spiteful jab.  Kenneson tries to land a jab, but Cruden slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Kenneson lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Kenneson throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kenneson lands a ramrod jab.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Cruden's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Cruden's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.
