Paul Couch vs James Roddick

Boxing Daily Report from the Elliot Britton promoted show at Marriott Hotel, Bristol,  taking place on 07/06/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Paul Couch (9 - 0) who hails from Doncaster, UK and James Roddick(6 - 1 - 1) from Bolton, UK.  Both Couch and Roddick weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Darryl Jones, and the three ringside judges are Henry Finnegan, Charlie Murphy and Ian Stockard.  

Round 1: 

Couch is looking to close the distance and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Couch holds on to his opponent.  Couch pushes his forearm into Roddick's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Couch about fouling.  
Couch throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot.  Couch clinches his opponent.  Couch leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Roddick switches the action to the outside.  Couch lands an overhand right, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Couch steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Couch closes the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Couch lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Couch sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Roddick is looking to keep his distance.  Couch lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Couch closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Couch ties up his opponent.  Couch is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Roddick steps away from his opponent.  Couch drives a firm cross into Roddick's body.  
Couch gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Couch lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Couch forces Roddick to back into the corner.  Couch stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Couch crashes a spiteful right hook to his opponents ribcage.  RODDICK HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 7.  Roddick now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
