Orleans Nicolas vs Gregory Cruguet

Boxing Daily Report from the Dakessian Promotions promoted show at Le Transbordeur Club Transbo, Villeurbanne,  taking place on 02/07/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the France-Rhone-Alpes Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Orleans Nicolas (19(8) - 0) who hails from Lyon, France and Gregory Cruguet(15 - 11(1) - 4) from Villeurbanne, France.  Both Nicolas and Cruguet weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vernon Peyrefitte, and the three ringside judges are Marcel Jean, Jesper Baudelaire and Nazaire Huet.  

Round 1: 

Cruguet pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Nicolas tries to keep the action at long range and lands with a stinging jab.  
Nicolas pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Cruguet tries to step out of his opponents range.  Nicolas feints a left hook, and then snaps his opponents head back with a spiteful jab.  
Nicolas lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Nicolas hits home with a stiff jab.  
Nicolas lands a cross to Cruguet's body.  
Nicolas lands a stinging jab.  
Nicolas lands two jabs followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Nicolas lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Nicolas lands a hard jab.  
Cruguet manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Nicolas connects with a left uppercut.  
Nicolas tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.  
Nicolas pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Nicolas lands a cross, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Cruguet almost instantly gets his legs back.

Round 2: 

Nicolas tries to step out of his opponents range and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Nicolas finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Nicolas EXPLODES a FIERCE cross into his opponents face.  CRUGUET WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Nicolas tries to land a jab, but Cruguet sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Nicolas is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Nicolas EXPLODES a spiteful cross into his opponents face.  CRUGUET IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like Cruguet has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Cruguet steps inside and throws a right hook, but Nicolas holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Nicolas pushes his forearm into Cruguet's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Nicolas to stop fouling.  
Nicolas is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Nicolas sidesteps to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a hard jab.  
Nicolas feints a right hook, and then lands with a stinging jab.  
Nicolas steps away from his opponent.  Nicolas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Nicolas sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  He then lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Nicolas lands a nasty cross.  CRUGUET IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Cruguet advances into close range.  Nicolas lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Nicolas clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  Nicolas tries to land a right hook, but Cruguet blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Nicolas steps to the outside.  Nicolas sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a firm cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Cruguet's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Cruguet's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Cruguet's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Nicolas steps to the outside.  Nicolas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Nicolas lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Nicolas finds the target with a hard jab.  
Nicolas steps to the outside.  Nicolas feints a left hook, and then lands a MASSIVE cross.  CRUGUET HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  
Nicolas attempts to land a cross, but Cruguet slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Nicolas lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a jab, overhand left and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Nicolas lands a straight 1 - 2, DROPPING CRUGUET TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.

Nicolas uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Cruguet behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Nicolas.  
Cruguet quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Nicolas throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Cruguet is looking to close the distance.  Nicolas is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Cruguet quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Nicolas lands a left hook to the body, a cross to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND DROPS CRUGUET TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  
Cruguet advances into close range.  Nicolas thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Cruguet away.  Nicolas lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS CRUGUET DOWN!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Nicolas!
