John Kones vs Max Lai

Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Murungaru, Nairobi,  taking place on 22/06/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya-Nairobi Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Kones (14 - 13(2) - 4) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Max Lai(23(4) - 9(3)) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Kones weighed in at 153 pounds And 15 ounces, while Lai weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joe Mwirichia, and the three ringside judges are Rashid Salih, James Chepkemei and Paul Chelanga.  

Round 1:
