Carlos Davalos vs Lisandro Barreda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Coahuila promoted show at Ngwenya Gym, Saltillo,  taking place on 20/06/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Coahuila Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Davalos (8 - 6(1) - 3) who hails from Saltillo, Mexico and Lisandro Barreda(8(1) - 2) from Torreon, Mexico.  Davalos weighed in at 232 pounds and 11 ounces, while Barreda weighed in at 234 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Macia, and the three ringside judges are Dimos Lona, Montel Cassillas and Montenegro Pizarro.  

Round 1: 

Barreda advances into close range and digs in a right hook to Davalos's body.  
Davalos steps to the outside and connects with a cross.

Davalos steps inside.  Barreda sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Davalos throws a left hook, but Barreda holds on to his opponent.  Davalos leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Barreda's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Barreda feints a jab, tricking Davalos into throwing a left hook counter.  Barreda is waiting for the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Davalos's ribs.  
Davalos tries to keep the action at long range.  Barreda hits home with an overhand right.  
Davalos steps away from his opponent.  Davalos feints a left hook, and then is on target with a cross.
