Enzo Cirielli vs Sergio Serbandini

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Stadio Flaminio, Rome,  taking place on 03/07/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Italy Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Arena, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Enzo Cirielli (25(21) - 6(1)) who hails from Genoa, Italy and Sergio Serbandini(23 - 2 - 2) from Milan, Italy.  Cirielli weighed in at 147 pounds, while Serbandini weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rocco Libertini, and the three ringside judges are Silvano Viani, Gianluca Papapietro and Silvestro Del Piero.  

Round 1:

Serbandini gets on the inside.  Cirielli tries to land a right uppercut, but Serbandini sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to Cirielli's liver.  
Cirielli is looking to keep his distance and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Cirielli hits home with a stinging overhand left.  
Cirielli lands a straight 1 - 2.

Serbandini is on target with a right uppercut to Cirielli's body.  Serbandini throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Cirielli advances into close range.  Serbandini hits home with a left hook.  Serbandini tries to land a left hook, but Cirielli blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Serbandini's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Serbandini's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Cirielli lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND DROPS SERBANDINI TO THE CANVAS!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Cirielli!
