Seamus Brannon vs Santiago Portugal

Boxing Daily Report from the Donnelly Boxing promoted show at Dvorana Mladosti, Rijeka,  taking place on 01/08/2032:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Seamus Brannon (10(7) - 1) who hails from Bangor, UK and Santiago Portugal(16 - 12(1) - 7) from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  Brannon weighed in at 147 pounds, while Portugal weighed in at 146 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Stipe Mikacic, and the three ringside judges are Domagoj Škvorc, Srecko Vujnovic and Miljenko Vrabec.  

Round 1: 

Portugal sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Brannon lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Portugal almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Brannon switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.
