Amjad Salam vs Elderson Ekwensi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Anambra State promoted show at Okpoko Adokwe, Okpoko,  taking place on 04/07/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Anambra State Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Amjad Salam (15(2) - 2 - 2) who hails from Onitsha, Nigeria and Elderson Ekwensi(15 - 20(1) - 4) from Onitsha, Nigeria.  Salam weighed in at 147 pounds, while Ekwensi weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Yasin Sadiq, and the three ringside judges are Segun Envoh, Waqas Tabatabai and Segun Envoh.
