Sam Salvatierra vs Brad Weatherly

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Stanford Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 12/08/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the North American Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Slick Sam Salvatierra (35(12) - 5(1) - 3) who hails from Fremont, USA and Mad Brad Weatherly(20(14) - 0) from St. Louis, USA.  Both Salvatierra and Weatherly weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jack Apted, and the three ringside judges are Oscar Hall, David Merricks and Aaron Fergerson.  

Round 1: 

Salvatierra tries to step out of his opponents range.  Weatherly throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Weatherly finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Weatherly connects with a sharp cross.  
Weatherly throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Weatherly gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Weatherly clinches his opponent.  Salvatierra pushes his forearm into Weatherly's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Salvatierra quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Salvatierra throws a right hook, but Weatherly clinches his opponent.  Weatherly uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Salvatierra behind the head. Weatherly is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Weatherly's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Weatherly forces Salvatierra to back into the ropes.  Weatherly is on target with a solid left hook.  Weatherly ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Weatherly pushes his forearm into Salvatierra's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Weatherly.  
Salvatierra lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Weatherly advances into close range and hits home with a solid right hook.

Salvatierra connects with an overhand right.  Salvatierra throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
