Franco Salmeron vs Vicente Alejandro

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Ritz-Carlton Casino, Carolina,  taking place on 16/07/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Franco Salmeron (11(7) - 2 - 1) who hails from Carolina, Puerto Rico and Vicente Alejandro(5 - 6) from Bayamon, Puerto Rico.  Both Salmeron and Alejandro weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Cerezo, and the three ringside judges are Rafael Alarcon, Joaquin Arena and Lorenzo Ballesteros.  

Round 1: 

Salmeron steps inside.  Salmeron steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Alejandro is whaling away with hooks, but Salmeron keeps his defence tight.

Alejandro lands a right hook.  Salmeron ties up his opponent.  Salmeron leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Alejandro throws a left hook, but Salmeron holds on to his opponent.  Salmeron leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Salmeron's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Salmeron hits home with a solid jab.  Salmeron throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Salmeron is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body, DROPPING ALEJANDRO TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Salmeron lands a right uppercut followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body, DROPPING ALEJANDRO TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  However, the ref is not convinced Alejandro is fit to continue. He waves off the fight!  The winner by TKO is Salmeron!
