Diego Pompa vs Juan Abela

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Panama-Panama State promoted show at Panama City Mosso, Panama City,  taking place on 13/06/2032:

Clearly AI Panama-Panama State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Panama Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NEXtv, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Diego Pompa (20(2) - 6(2) - 1) who hails from San Miguelito, Panama and Juan Abela(14(3) - 7 - 1) from Panama City, Panama.  Both Pompa and Abela weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Pasillas, and the three ringside judges are Malvolio Rosa, Antonio Camisa and Vicente Guitierrez.  

Round 1:

Abela gets on the inside.  Abela lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Abela dabs at his face checking for damage.  Abela has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.

Abela sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Abela is on target with a powerful left uppercut to Pompa's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE POMPA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Abela ties up his opponent.  Pompa is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Pompa about fouling.
