Nick Farrell vs Felix Newall

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Capital Territory promoted show at Canberra Ronald, Canberra,  taking place on 14/07/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Australia-Capital Territory Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nick Farrell (6(4) - 1) who hails from Canberra, Australia and Felix Newall(9 - 4(2) - 3) from Canberra, Australia.  Both Farrell and Newall weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Hakopyan, and the three ringside judges are Brad Hewitt, Danny McCornack and Mark Kilbride.  

Round 1: 

Farrell gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to Newall's liver.  Farrell ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Farrell pushes his forearm into Newall's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Farrell about fouling.  
Farrell digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Farrell clinches his opponent.  Farrell tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Newall behind the head. The ref breaks Farrell's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Farrell steps inside.  Newall throws a left uppercut, but Farrell ties up his opponent.  Farrell is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Farrell lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Farrell is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.  
Farrell hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Farrell gets on the inside.  Newall pivots to the side of his opponent.  Farrell lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Farrell throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Farrell lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Farrell feints a jab, fooling Newall into launching a right uppercut counter.  Farrell springs the trap and counters with  a cross.  
Newall pivots to the side of his opponent.  Newall attempts to land a cross, but Farrell sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Farrell steps inside and is on target with a left hook to Newall's body.  
Farrell manouvers Newall onto the ropes.  Farrell lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Farrell pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Farrell gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Farrell tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Farrell lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Farrell lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Farrell gets on the inside.  Newall throws a left hook, but Farrell clinches his opponent.  Farrell leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Farrell manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Farrell is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Farrell lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Farrell wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Newall dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Farrell lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, DROPPING NEWALL TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Newall recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Newall's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Newall's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Farrell crashes a mean right hook to his opponents body.  NEWALL IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Farrell lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Newall is on target with a jab.  Newall now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Farrell advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Farrell lands a jab.  
Farrell is looking to close the distance.  Newall pivots to the right of his opponent.  Farrell lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Farrell drives a cross into Newall's body.  
Farrell closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Newall finds the target with a jab.  
Farrell lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Newall tries to keep the action at long range and attempts to land a jab, but Farrell blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.

Farrell knows Newall is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Farrell digs in a weighty left hook to his opponents body.  DOWN GOES NEWALL!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  It looks like Newall has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Farrell closes the distance.  Newall pivots to the left of his opponent.  Farrell lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Farrell advances into close range and digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Farrell gets on the inside and hits home with a left uppercut.
