Romain Berthieu vs Beau Pique

Boxing Daily Report from the Mulia Promotions promoted show at Maroua de Saint-Exupery, Maroua,  taking place on 16/07/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Extreme-Nord Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Romain Berthieu (18 - 13(2)) who hails from Maroua, Cameroon and Beau Pique(12 - 2 - 2) from Maroua, Cameroon.  Both Berthieu and Pique weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Glanville Jacob, and the three ringside judges are Lionel Mboma, Holland Painchaud and Montgomery Oulette.  

Round 1: 

Berthieu pivots from in front of his opponent.  Pique hits home with a cross.  
Berthieu steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Berthieu closes the distance.  Berthieu pivots to the side of his opponent.  Pique hits home with a left hook.  
Berthieu is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Berthieu's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Pique's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Berthieu gets on the inside.  Berthieu sidesteps to the right of his opponent andAs Pique tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Berthieu dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Berthieu sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Pique throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Berthieu to the neutral corner.  He has a stern word with Pique and threatens a point deduction if continues to foul.
