Santiago Penalver vs Juan Puerta

Boxing Daily Report from the Boomer Promotions promoted show at Havana Plata, Havana,  taking place on 17/07/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba-Havana Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Penalver (27(2) - 2 - 1) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Juan Puerta(5 - 6) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Penalver and Puerta weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Montel Albarran, and the three ringside judges are Ponce Cortina, Federico Bracero and Pedro Pico.  

Round 1: 

Puerta is looking to keep his distance.  Penalver snaps his opponents head back with a stinging jab.  
Puerta tries to keep the action at long range.  Puerta sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Penalver finds the target with a stinging jab.  Penalver attempts to land a cross, but Puerta blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Penalver lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Penalver quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Penalver lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Penalver ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Penalver pushes his forearm into Puerta's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Penalver to stop fouling.

Penalver advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Puerta steps to the outside.  Penalver senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Puerta and just needs the right shot.  Penalver lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS PUERTA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Penalver!
