Neil McGinnis vs Dennis McCaskey

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Hornchurch Stadium, London,  taking place on 06/08/2032:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Neil McGinnis (6(3) - 2) who hails from Glasgow, UK and Dennis McCaskey(12 - 16(3) - 1) from Leeds, UK.  McGinnis weighed in at 167 pounds and 9 ounces, while McCaskey weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Frank McCance, and the three ringside judges are Rich MacGibbon, Mark Clisham and Michael Farquhar.  

Round 1: 

McGinnis lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
McGinnis throws a left uppercut, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  McGinnis ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
McGinnis forces McCaskey to retreat into a corner.  McCaskey throws a right hook, but McGinnis ties up his opponent.  McCaskey is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
McGinnis lands a solid right uppercut.  McGinnis clinches his opponent.  McGinnis tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits McCaskey's kidney. McGinnis is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McGinnis about fouling.  
McGinnis sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  McCaskey attempts to land a left uppercut, but McGinnis sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
McGinnis lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  McCaskey quickly recovers. 
McGinnis lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
McGinnis lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
McGinnis closes the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
McCaskey gets on the inside.  McGinnis is on target with a right uppercut to McCaskey's ribcage.  
McCaskey walks McGinnis down, trapping him on the ropes.  McGinnis throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  McGinnis holds on to his opponent.  McGinnis hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
McGinnis connects with a left uppercut.  
McCaskey throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
McGinnis walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  McGinnis lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  As McGinnis tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McCaskey dabs at his face checking for damage.  
McGinnis lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
McCaskey pivots to the left of his opponent.  McGinnis lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES MCCASKEY!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
McGinnis is on target with a left hook to McCaskey's body.  
McGinnis lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
McCaskey throws a right uppercut, but McGinnis holds on to his opponent.  McGinnis is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks McGinnis's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
McGinnis is on target with a left hook.  McGinnis holds on to his opponent.  McGinnis is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. McGinnis pushes his forearm into McCaskey's face.  The referee warns McGinnis and breaks the clinch.  
McGinnis walks McCaskey down, trapping him on the ropes.  McGinnis is on target with a firm left hook to McCaskey's body.  
McGinnis lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
McGinnis lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.

McGinnis sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a right uppercut into McCaskey's ribcage.  
McGinnis lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.

McGinnis lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
McGinnis lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
McGinnis lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
McGinnis lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  McCaskey almost instantly recovers. 
McCaskey is on target with a left hook to McGinnis's body.

Some sustained pressure from McGinnis could be enough to finish McCaskey!  McGinnis lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a cross to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND SENDS MCCASKEY SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  It looks like McCaskey has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
