Hamish McRobbie vs Sam Mickel

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at Centre for Sport, Newcastle,  taking place on 06/08/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern England Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hamish McRobbie (20(7) - 0) who hails from Hull, UK and Sam Mickel(10 - 2(1) - 2) from Bradford, UK.  McRobbie weighed in at 154 pounds, while Mickel weighed in at 153 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Billy Ireland, and the three ringside judges are Tony Ferris, Robert Couper and Matthew McAlister.  

Round 1: 

McRobbie closes the distance.  McRobbie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a firm right hook.
