Rex Sim vs Phil Ferries

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Fairmont Hotel, San Francisco,  taking place on 11/08/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MSG Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rex Sim (13(10) - 0 - 1(NC)) who hails from Yuma, USA and Phil Ferries(4 - 1 - 4) from Los Angeles, USA.  Both Sim and Ferries weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Patrick Hardie, and the three ringside judges are John Benitez, Louis Hemming and Davie Keir.  

Round 1: 

Sim steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Sim ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Sim pushes his forearm into Ferries's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Sim.  Sim throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Sim's body.  
Sim lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Sim ties up his opponent.  Sim leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
