Myung-joo Um vs Chu-young Keng

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Korea-South Chungcheong promoted show at Sangnok Convention Center Auditorium, Cheonan,  taking place on 02/08/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the East Asian Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Star Sports Korea, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Myung-joo Um (22(19) - 1) who hails from Cheonan, South Korea and Chu-young Keng(28(23) - 1) from Cheonan, South Korea.  Both Um and Keng weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dong-won Pai, and the three ringside judges are Min-woo Um, Heung-Min Kang and Yong-jae Chai.  

Round 1: 

Um is looking to keep his distance and lands a straight 1 - 2, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Keng recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Keng walks Um onto the ropes.  Keng drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  Keng tries to land a right hook, but Um slips the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Um lands a right hook.  
Um steps away from his opponent and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Keng tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Keng sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Um lands an overhand right followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Keng forces Um to retreat into the corner.  Keng lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Um steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Um attempts to land a jab, but Keng parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Keng gets on the inside and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Um steps to the outside.  Um sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Um hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Keng is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Um steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Um lands a sharp cross.  Um tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Keng steps inside and manouvers Um onto the ropes.  Um throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Keng is on target with a left hook.  Keng throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Um switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Um lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Keng steps inside and lands a left hook.  
Keng voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Um accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Keng.  
Um sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Keng almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Um lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  Um attempts to land a cross, but Keng blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Um lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Keng quickly recovers. 
Keng advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Um switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Keng steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Keng lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Keng's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Keng closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.  KENG WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Keng almost instantly gets his legs back.
