Robert Nish vs Vince Colton

Boxing Daily Report from the Forficula Promotion promoted show at Linden Neave, Linden,  taking place on 16/07/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Robert Nish (5 - 3) who hails from New Amsterdam, Guyana and Vince Colton(4 - 8(1) - 2) from Georgetown, Guyana.  Nish weighed in at 199 pounds and 13 ounces, while Colton weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leon Colquhoun, and the three ringside judges are Vince Johnstone, Rob Pate and Chris Page.  

Round 1: 

Nish tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross.  
Colton pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Colton advances into close range and digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Colton pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Colton lands a jab.  
Colton advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Colton quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Colton pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Nish connects with a right hook.  
Nish steps away from his opponent and throws an overhand right, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Nish's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Nish's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Nish's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Nish is looking to keep his distance.  Nish feints a jab, but Colton is not fooled and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Nish sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.

Colton gets on the inside.  Colton sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.

Colton manouvers Nish into the corner.  Colton wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Nish dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Colton is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Colton finds the target with a jab.  
Nish is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Nish throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Colton time to recover.
