Selestino Apostol vs Lisandro Correira

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Cortes promoted show at Rodrigo Sambrano Gym, Choloma,  taking place on 13/07/2032:

Clearly AI Honduras-Cortes have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Honduras Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Todo Deportes TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Selestino Apostol (8 - 2 - 1) who hails from San Pedro Sula, Honduras and Lisandro Correira(3(1) - 0) from San Pedro Sula, Honduras.  Apostol weighed in at 169 pounds and 6 ounces, while Correira weighed in at 168 pounds.    As Apostol came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Guido Campa, and the three ringside judges are Guido Campa, Jeraldo Carro and Marco Quezada.  

Round 1: 

Apostol sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Correira finds the target with a jab.

Apostol throws a right hook, but Correira holds on to his opponent.  Correira pushes his forearm into Apostol's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Correira to stop fouling.  
Apostol tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a cross.  
Correira forces Apostol to retreat onto the ropes.  Correira is on target with a solid left uppercut to his opponents body.  Correira holds on to his opponent.  Correira leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Correira closes the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Correira lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Correira lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Apostol quickly recovers. 
Correira manouvers his opponent into the blue corner.  Correira sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Correira is on target with a firm right uppercut.  
Apostol sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Correira is on target with a firm left hook to Apostol's body.

Correira steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Correira attempts to land a left hook, but Apostol blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Correira gets on the inside.  Apostol hits home with a left hook.  Correira ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Apostol steps away from his opponent and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a BRUTAL left hook.  APOSTOL WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Apostol almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Correira advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Correira is looking to close the distance.  Correira pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Correira is on target with a left hook to Apostol's body.  
Correira connects with a sharp left hook.  
Correira pivots to the right of his opponent.  Correira lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS APOSTOL SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Correira clinches his opponent.  Correira leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Correira's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Correira senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Apostol and just needs the right shot.  Correira lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DROPS APOSTOL TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Apostol now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Correira connects with a stinging left hook.  
Correira advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Correira is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Correira lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND APOSTOL IS DOWN!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Correira!
