Patrick Morando vs Jamie Modesto

Boxing Daily Report from the Bones promoted show at The Grand Ballroom at The Plaza, New York City,  taking place on 14/08/2032:

Clearly Bones have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Patrick Morando (44(40) - 0) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Jamie Modesto(1 - 5(1) - 2) from Gilbert, USA.  Morando weighed in at 117 pounds and 9 ounces, while Modesto weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lee Gladstone, and the three ringside judges are Phil Graden, Richard Mathieson and Joshua Cavanah.

Morando lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Morando tries to step out of his opponents range and lands with a solid jab.  
Morando snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.  
Morando attempts to land an overhand left, but Modesto sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Modesto forces Morando to retreat into the corner.  Modesto is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Modesto tries to land a cross, but Morando parries the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Morando lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Modesto attempts to land a cross, but Morando parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Morando steps to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Morando quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Morando lands a jab to the body, a jab to the head and an overhand right to the head.  
Morando lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Morando lands a jab to the head, an overhand right to the head and a jab to the body.  
Morando lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Morando thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Modesto away.  Morando lands a cross, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  Modesto now seems to have his senses back.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Modesto's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Modesto's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Morando feints a cross, tricking Modesto into throwing a right uppercut counter.  Morando avoids the shot and counters with a hurtful right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE MODESTO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Modesto quickly recovers. 
Morando steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand left, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Morando lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Modesto is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Morando hits home with an overhand right.  
Morando lands with a ramrod jab.  
Morando lands with a stiff jab.  
Morando finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Morando throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Morando switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Morando tries to keep the action at long range.  Morando feints a cross, and then hits home with a hard jab.  Morando attempts to land a jab, but Modesto sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Morando lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Modesto walks Morando onto the ropes.  Morando senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Modesto and just needs the right shot.  Morando lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, KNOCKING MODESTO DOWN!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Morando!
