Neil Coughlin vs Robert Rhydderch

Boxing Daily Report from the Ssali Promotions promoted show at Blackburn Sports & Leisure Centre, Blackburn,  taking place on 16/08/2032:

Clearly Ssali Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern England Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Neil Coughlin (7 - 8(2) - 5) who hails from Hull, UK and Robert Rhydderch(7 - 7 - 1) from Leeds, UK.  Coughlin weighed in at 159 pounds And 4 ounces, while Rhydderch weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Brys, and the three ringside judges are Peter Crumlish, Rhod Secombe and Robert McQueen.  

Round 1: 

Rhydderch feints a cross, and then hits home with a left uppercut.  
Coughlin digs in a left hook to Rhydderch's body.

Coughlin steps away from his opponent and tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Coughlin's ribcage.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Rhydderch dabs at his face checking for damage.  Rhydderch has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Coughlin steps away from his opponent.  Coughlin feints a right hook, and then lands a cross.
