Hayden Peffers vs Antwan Farrish

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Indiana promoted show at Fort Wayne Norris, Fort Wayne,  taking place on 01/09/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hayden Peffers (3 - 10(2) - 5) who hails from Lowell, USA and Antwan A List Farrish(10(4) - 3(2)) from Tuscaloosa, USA.  Both Peffers and Farrish weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Louis Gotch, and the three ringside judges are Leeroy Rielly, Danny Henderson and Gabriel Sereno.  

Round 1: 

Farrish is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut.  
Farrish gets on the inside.  Farrish pivots to the left of his opponent.  Farrish attempts to land a right hook, but Peffers dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Farrish lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Farrish lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Farrish ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Peffers is looking to keep his distance.  Farrish drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Peffers throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Peffers's body.  
Farrish is looking to close the distance and hits home with a solid right hook.  
Farrish is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Farrish throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Farrish clinches his opponent.  Farrish is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Farrish's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Farrish forces Peffers to back into the corner.  Peffers throws a left hook, but Farrish ties up his opponent.  Farrish is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Farrish and breaks the clinch.  
Peffers attempts to land a left uppercut, but Farrish slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Farrish drives a stinging left uppercut into Peffers's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Peffers's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Peffers's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Farrish steps inside.  Farrish sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Farrish lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Farrish steps inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Farrish hits home with a left uppercut.  
Peffers throws a left hook, but Farrish holds on to his opponent.  Farrish is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Peffers switches the action to the outside.  Peffers feints a jab, and then hits home with an overhand right.  
Farrish digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Farrish lands a hard jab.  
Farrish hits home with a right hook.  
Farrish hits home with a left hook.  As Peffers tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Farrish has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Farrish attempts to land a right uppercut, but Peffers blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Farrish lands a solid right hook.  
Farrish advances into close range.  Farrish is on target with a right hook to Peffers's body.  Farrish holds on to his opponent.  Farrish uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Peffers behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Farrish about fouling.  As Farrish tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Peffers dabs at his face checking for damage.

Farrish pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE PEFFERS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Farrish sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Farrish lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS PEFFERS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Peffers now seems to have got his legs back.

Peffers tries to step out of his opponents range.  Peffers feints a cross, but Farrish is not fooled and is on target with a MASSIVE cross.  PEFFERS IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT PEFFERS CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Farrish!
