Ian Gower vs Paul Malkasyan

Boxing Daily Report from the JDHawks Gym promoted show at Old Market Hall, Bratislava,  taking place on 17/10/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ian Gower (10 - 1(1) - 1) who hails from Spanish Town, Jamaica and Paul Malkasyan(9(3) - 4(2) - 1) from Sunshine Coast, Australia.  Both Gower and Malkasyan weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sennett Grosjean, and the three ringside judges are Gregory Deneuve, Jasper Bayard and Beau Ba.  

Round 1: 

Gower tries to land a cross, but Malkasyan blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Gower closes the distance and is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Gower attempts to land a left hook, but Malkasyan blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Malkasyan advances into close range.  Gower is on target with a firm right hook.  Gower throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Malkasyan digs in a right hook to Gower's ribcage.  
Malkasyan lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
