Tajo Rozas vs Alejandro Leyba

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Javier Cruz Artes y Oficios, Panama City,  taking place on 23/08/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tajo Rozas (20(17) - 0) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Alejandro Leyba(13 - 9 - 2) from Medellin, Colombia.  Rozas weighed in at 200 pounds, while Leyba weighed in at 199 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Diego Vences, and the three ringside judges are Neron Pasqual, Roman Giraldo and Eduardo Amezquita.  

Round 1: 

Leyba steps inside.  Rozas is on target with a stinging right hook to Leyba's ribcage.  Rozas clinches his opponent.  Rozas pushes his forearm into Leyba's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Rozas about fouling.  
Rozas is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Leyba is looking to close the distance.  Rozas lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Rozas holds on to his opponent.  Rozas is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Rozas's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Rozas is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with an overhand left.  
Rozas connects with a stinging cross.  Rozas tries to land a cross, but Leyba parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Rozas steps to the outside and lands with a stiff jab.  
Leyba is looking to close the distance.  Rozas lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Rozas feints a jab, and then connects with a cross.  
Rozas steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands two consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head.

Rozas is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a jab.  
Rozas feints a jab, and then connects with a firm cross.  
Leyba advances into close range and throws a left hook, but Rozas ties up his opponent.  Rozas leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Rozas is looking to keep his distance and connects with a stinging cross.  Rozas throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Rozas lands a weighty overhand left.  LEYBA IS HURT!  Leyba quickly recovers. 
Rozas lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands an overhand right, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Leyba quickly recovers. 
Leyba attempts to land a cross, but Rozas slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Rozas sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Leyba connects with a right hook.  
Rozas closes the distance and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot.  Rozas clinches his opponent.  Rozas leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Rozas pushes his forearm into Leyba's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Rozas to stop fouling.  
Rozas is looking to keep his distance and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He then lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Leyba almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Rozas lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Leyba's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Leyba's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Rozas is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Rozas stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Leyba throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Rozas lands two straights followed by an overhand left to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Leyba almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Leyba gets on the inside.  Rozas lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Rozas holds on to his opponent.  Rozas leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Rozas connects with a solid cross.  
Rozas is on target with a jab.  
Leyba tries to land a jab, but Rozas blocks the shot and counters with a VICIOUS left hook.  LEYBA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Leyba quickly recovers. 
Rozas steps inside.  Leyba throws a right hook, but Rozas ties up his opponent.  Rozas leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Leyba advances into close range.  Rozas lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Rozas ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Rozas's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Leyba cuts off the ring, trapping Rozas on the ropes.  Leyba tries to land a jab, but Rozas dodges the shot and counters with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Leyba sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Rozas lands a cross to the head, a jab to the head and a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Rozas steps to the outside.  Rozas senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Leyba and just needs the right shot.  Rozas lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING LEYBA DOWN!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Rozas!
