Aseem Bakshi vs Pradeep Nigam

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Gujurat promoted show at Ahmedabad Nouri, Ahmedabad,  taking place on 20/08/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-Gujurat Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aseem Bakshi (12 - 7(1) - 2) who hails from Surat, India and Pradeep Nigam(9 - 15 - 4) from Ahmedabad, India.  Both Bakshi and Nigam weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rehman Samaan, and the three ringside judges are Arjuna Rangaswamy, Zuffur Nazir and Anupam Rana.  

Round 1: 

Bakshi steps inside.  Bakshi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Bakshi throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.
