Roger Keir vs Jake Maragos

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at Melbourne Watkins, Melbourne,  taking place on 13/08/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Roger Keir (3 - 1) who hails from Canberra, Australia and Jake Maragos(3 - 0 - 1) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Keir and Maragos weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Blake Lapshin, and the three ringside judges are James Tarbert, Dom Clapperton and Bruce Munhall.  

Round 1: 

Keir lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Keir closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Keir steps inside and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Keir ties up his opponent.  Keir leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Keir's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Maragos throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
