Cody Winning vs Oliver Batton

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Nova Scotia promoted show at Johnny Clisham Gym, Halifax,  taking place on 14/08/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Nova Scotia Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cody Winning (8 - 13 - 2) who hails from Halifax, Canada and Oliver Batton(2 - 4 - 1) from Halifax, Canada.  Both Winning and Batton weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Walkinshaw, and the three ringside judges are Gareth Munroe, Joel Dunwoody and Scott Hastie.  

Round 1: 

Batton gets on the inside.  Winning attempts to land a right hook, but Batton slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Winning tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a cross.  
Winning switches the action to the outside.  Batton finds the target with a jab.  
Winning steps away from his opponent.  Batton hits home with an overhand left.
